Evening at the Park

What a beautiful night to go to the park! We had a picnic - the kids played and so did I - with my new lens for my camera! Below are some of the pictures I took... If you live in Ankeny - this is a very fun park...brand new called Dean park in Prairie Trail - with a beautiful shelter house, squishy turf the playground equipment sits on and even water for the kids to splash around!

The happy 2 year old...

It is so hard to believe that our little boy is growing up so fast!!! Saturday July 25th he turned 2 so we celebrated with a fish themed party! Most of the family came down to join in on the fun! He had a great time and was so excited to have everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to him that he even joined in on the singing! He epecially loved his cake, all the gifts, hitting the Nemo pinata, and playing in the water! What a day to remember!

D&K invited us to the ICubs game on Thursday night in the box suite seating...it was pretty SWEET and the kids thought it was pretty awesome too!

Morgan was all about taking a picture with Cubby the Bear! Ryan not so much...he was freaked out by him and the rest of the game was looking all over the stands for him...he kept saying "Mom where the Bear go Mom?" about every 10 minutes...it was pretty cute!
